The General Settings page allows you to configure organization-wide settings for InterVal. These settings apply to all users and projects within your organization, ensuring consistency during the valuation process. Currently, the primary setting available is the 'Default Map,' which determines the default mapping service used throughout the platform. As InterVal evolves, additional maps and other general settings will be added to enhance customization and functionality.

Tab 1 - Default Map
The Maps tab within the General Settings allows you to define the default map view for your entire organization. By setting a default map, you ensure that all users within your organization start with a consistent view when accessing map-related features in InterVal. This tab provides search functionality to easily locate a specific city and the ability to right-click on the map to precisely select the desired default center point. Keep in mind that individual users can override this setting on their profile page if needed.
- Close Button: Clicking this button will close the General Settings page without saving any changes made to the default map selection.
- Save Button: Clicking the Save button will save the selected default map for the entire organization and close the General Settings page.
- Search by City: This input field allows you to search for a specific city to quickly navigate and center the map on that location, making it easier to select the desired default map area.
- Map Interaction: Right-clicking on the map allows you to select a specific location as the center point for the default map used by the organization. This enables precise positioning of the map view according to your preferences.
